In our APE Interview Series, we met high-level water experts to discuss the future of water and share perspectives on the upcoming challenges and solutions for truly sustainable water services. All of the interviews are available in Aqua Publica Europea's publication 'The Public Water Services of the Future'.
- On 17 October 2019, Aqua Publica Europea, the European Association of Public Water Operators, launched its new publication 'The Public Water Services of the Future'. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, the association proposes to outline the role that public water operators across Europe are undertaking, as actors of their communities, fully embedded into their environmental, social, economic and knowledge ecosystems, and striving to contribute to a sustainable future. Based on the long-term strategies and concrete actions of the member operators, the document addresses how they are preparing to address the great challenges of tomorrow and to harness opportunities.
- Aqua Publica Europea participated in the 13th meeting of the OECD's Water Governance Initiative in Paris, on 09-10 January 2020
- Scheduled to start on 31 January 2020, the post-graduate degree in 'Management of Integrated Water Service' was launched on 24 January at the Palazzo dell'Acqua in Bari (Italy), as a partnership between local public water operator Acquedotto Pugliese, with its AQP Water Academy, and the University LUM Jean Monnet School of Management.
