Acquedotto Pugliese launches new Master's studies on water management

Scheduled to start on 31 January 2020, the post-graduate degree in 'Management of Integrated Water Service' was launched on 24 January at the Palazzo dell'Acqua in Bari (Italy), as a partnership between local public water operator Acquedotto Pugliese, with its AQP Water Academy, and the University LUM Jean Monnet School of Management.

Scheduled to start on 31 January 2020, the post-graduate degree in 'Management of Integrated Water Service' was launched on 24 January at the Palazzo dell'Acqua in Bari (Italy), as a partnership between local public water operator Acquedotto Pugliese, with its AQP Water Academy, and the University LUM Jean Monnet School of Management

The objective is to develop business and management competence, in addition to technical skills for current and future professionals of water management, by providing new skills and knowledge about the various aspects of the integrated water management, including actors, organisational infrastructure and expertise, regulatory and technological constraints, regulatory mechanisms and control of activities. 

President of Acquedotto PuglieseSimeone di Cagno Abbrescia, said: "With this Master's we offer a service of quality and give a positive response to young people. We look at the university world with particular attention because there is capacity to expand and integrate the wealth of scientific and professional heritage present in AQP in strategic sectors for the quality of life and sustainability of our territory".

The programme will be divided between courses, project work and guided and individual study activities, and will be taught by professors from the LUM Univeristy Jean Monnet, professionals from Acquedotto Puglieses, as well as important groups from the sector and prestigious national universities and regional and national institutions.
