On 14 May, the Spanish association of public water operators, AEOPAS, launched its 'Manual for the Remunicipalisation of Water Services', meant as a comprehensive practical guide to support the municipalities that strive to bring their water services back into the public domain, following a period of privatisation.

Based on expert knowledge and experience and on emblematic Spanish case studies such as Valladolid or Terrassa, the manual provides a thorough analysis of the key characteristics of the remunicipalisation process and of technical and legal conditions.
