The campaign conducted by Águas de Cádiz, the operator of the city of Cádiz in Spain, throughout the school year 2018-2019 has successfully promoted environmental education in primary schools.
A total of 4.000 students, from 21 out of the city's 29 schools (93.33% of public schools), have participated in the project to develop knowledge about the water cycle, raise awareness on the importance to safeguard water and the environment and on the benefits of drinking tap water.
The educational campaign included practical learning adapted to age, such as classroom workshops with experts, dynamic activities and didactic material.
