AquaFlanders: A new tap water charter for municipalities
AquaFlanders, the federation of Flemish water companies and sewerage managers, launched a new charter for municipalities that focuses on sustainable water use and the value of tap water.
The new charter is part of the awareness campaign 'I drink tap water' (#ikdrinkraanwater) that the federation started last year. With this new charter, AquaFlanders wants to encourage the Flemish municipalities to promote sustainable water use to the citizens.
The presentation took place at the end of the Week of the Sustainable Flemish municipalities, an initiative of the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities (VVSG).
