In October 2018, professionals from the Belgian operator SWDE (Société Wallone des Eaux) traveled to Turin, Italy to exchange with SMAT's (Società Metropolitana Acque Torino) local team on innovation and applied research and development.
The in-depth discussions were pragmatic, concrete and evidence-based, and they allowed both operators to compare and challenge their approaches and methodologies in particular on the topic of Water Safety Plans.
Both teams were enthusiastic about this professionals-to-professionals exchange, which was also the opportunity to continue building their bilateral cooperation and to discuss future projects in the framework of the Aqua Publica platform.
