For the second consecutive year, Eau de Paris (public water operator of Paris, France) is launching its participatory budget initiative, encouraging Parisians to actively engage in innovative projects and creative ideas that celebrate and safeguard the essential public resource of water.
With a dedicated budget of €250,000, Eau de Paris is committed to financing projects revolving around the role that water plays in a urban environment. Open to residents, innovators, artists, researchers, engineers, and anyone with a compelling idea, the initiative welcomes a wide range of proposals.
What’s New in the 2024 Edition
To broaden the scope of support, Eau de Paris is introducing two funding categories this year:
- Projects with budgets up to €10,000
- Projects with budgets between €10,000 and €30,000
In addition, projects should be partially or fully implementable by 2025, with completion expected by the end of 2026. Eau de Paris teams are available to guide participants throughout the project journey, from planning to realisation.
The deadline for project submissions is December 1, 2024.
