EMASESA invites citizens to contribute to the development of the operator’s climate and drought strategic plans
On 22nd October, EMASESA presented its public consultation at the online conference‘United for Water. For a Green Change’ jointly organised with the Spanish association of public water operators, AEOPAS and the Spanish media group Joly.
The main purpose of this initiative is to involve citizens, civil society organisations and EMASESA technical staff in a collaborative effort to draft EMASESA’s new climate and drought strategic plans. The exercise will be carried out in the framework of the city’s Citizens Water Observatory.
The presentation of EMASESA's participatory initiative was followed by a panel discussion, moderated by Luis Babiano (AEOPAS), which counted with the participation of experts in the domain citizens participation, public policy, water management, the circular economy and climate change.
