Gruppo CAP seminar on water and territorial resilience
On the 4th of July 2016 Gruppo CAP, the operator serving the province around Milan, organised an international event with the aim of analysing and discussing the cities’ strategies to manage rainwater in cities and urban areas.
The event included the presentations of speakers from the OECD, the C40 network, the President of the network of the European water regulators (WAREG) and specific examples from the cities of Malmö, Rotterdam, Barcelona and Essen, as well as several Italian cities and municipalities. Some very interesting projects involving natural water retention measures and innovative approaches to managing storm water overflows were presented.
