Padania Acque launches water educational resources during the COVID-19 crisis
On the 22 March 2020, the World Water Day, the Italian water operator and Aqua Publica Europea Member Padania Acque launched an educational project focused on teaching the importance of water as an initiative to provide resources for children whilst they have to stay at home due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Padania Acque, the public water operator that manages water service in the province of Cremona (Italy) makes available to children from ages 5 to 7 a multimedia platform called "Goccia Story" and for primary school students, "Play Useful" an environmental education tool.
The "Goccia Story" aims at guiding children through the water life cycle. They will find different multimedia resources presenting good practices and aiming to raise awareness on the importance of responsible tap water use.
For primary school children,"Play Useful" is an in-depth study on environmental sustainability issues based on the "Acqua Book" environmental education tool.
