At the end of November last year, two staff members from Gruppo CAP (Milan, Italy) spent one week with Eau de Paris (Paris, France) to exchange practices about, amongst others, leak detection, drinking water treatment and energy recovery.

Following this first experience, staff from Eau de Paris visited Gruppo CAP in February to learn how the Milanese operator is implementing the risk-based approach to managing drinking water. During the three-day visit, the staff from Eau de Paris also had the opportunity to visit several of Gruppo CAP’s water production plants using innovative technologies, such as reverse osmosis and oxidation.

All the participants – from both Eau de Paris and CAP – were enthusiastic about the experience, which sets the basis for further technical exchanges between the two operators.
