Acquedotto Pugliese | World Water Day online talk on water and poetry
To mark World Water Day, 22 March, Acquedotto Pugliese organises an online talk with the Icelandic writer Andri Snær Magnason on the cultural value of water.
On World Water Day, the public water operator Acquedotto Pugliese is organising an online talk with the well-known poet Andri Snær Magnason. The public water utility and the poet will discuss the value of the water resource today.
Water is life, but also culture and poetry. Andri Snær Magnason, the Icelandic writer, is well aware of this and has chosen to talk about the climate emergency through his works dedicated to adults and children. Intellectual, poet, performer, environmental activist, he has long been involved in scientific dissemination and issues focused on the environment.
Acquedotto Pugliese has chosen Magnason to talk and tell the value of the water resource today, in their territory as in the rest of the world.
