AEOPAS | Workshop on the Drinking Water Directive national transposition, Online, 24 February
On 24 February 2021, AEOPAS, the Spanish Association of Public Water Operators in partnership with the Spanish Ministers of Health and of Environment, organised a high-level workshop to discuss the implementation of the Drinking Water Directive in Spain.
The event will be opened by State Secretaries to the Spanish Ministers for Health and for Environment, Aqua Publica Europea and AEOPAS. It will be followed then by specific roundtables dedicated to some aspects of the Drinking Water Directive such as water quality parameters, risk and health plans, human rights, and information requirements and relations with citizens. These specific subjects will be introduced by well-known experts in the national and international sphere, such as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation.
The workshop will be closed by Jaime Morell, General of Secretary of AEOPAS.
