On 14 April 2022, Eau de Paris organises a new online edition of its “Atelier des Métamorphoses’ series of workshops which invites to reflect on the water-related challenges that the local territories are facing.
Eau de Paris organises a new online edition of its “Atelier des Métamorphoses’ series of workshops on 14 April 2022 from 14h30 to 17h00.
On this occasion, the public water operator presents the workshop "L’homme augmenté en Eau" (Humans augmented with water) which aims to reflect on human's future dependence on water. This will become a major issue in the years to come, and our ability to be more autonomous in terms of our biological, social and agricultural needs for water by 2050.
The workshop will be moderated by Benjamin Gestin, Director General of Eau de Paris. With the participation of:
- Christian Clot, explorer-researcher, a specialist in human adaptation in extreme conditions and director of the Human Adaptation Institute research group.
- Guillaume Levrier, a teacher at the Sciences-Po university college and doctoral student at the CEVIPOF in Comparative Politics.
- Jean-Sébastien Steyer, paleontologist at the CNRS and the Paris Museum. Jean-Sébastien Steyer travels the world in search of fossils.
