On 28 Apil 2020, Eau de Paris will organise, the fourth edition of the 'Metamorphoses Workshop' (Ateliers des Métamorphoses), on the theme: '(im) possible transformation?' in collaboration with National Agency for Territorial Cohesion.

On 28 Apil 2020, Eau de Paris will organise, the fourth edition of the 'Metamorphoses Workshop' (Ateliers des Métamorphoses), on the theme: '(im) possible transformation?' in collaboration with National Agency for Territorial Cohesion

The Metamorphoses Workshops are future-oriented reflection fora, organised to draw on the knowledge of experts from outside the sector, contributing to discussions on the water with their expertise. On this occasion, the workshop will invite to reflect different perspectives of water and territories. 

The panel moderated by Eau de Paris Managing Director Benjamin Gestin and composed of four panellist from the sectors of journalism, academia, literature and territorial policies, will discuss how do we face the impact of the climate changes, and if we are condemned to an [im]possible transformation. 

  • Sébastien Bohler, doctor in neuroscience, editor-in-chief of the magazine Cerveau et Psycho, author of the book "Le bug humain, Pourquoi notre cerveau nous pousse à détruire la planète et comment l'en empêcher" (The human bug, why our brain drives us to destroy the planet and how to stop it) (ed. Robert Laffont).
  • Pauline Conversy, doctoral student at the Centre d'Écologie et des Sciences de la COnservation (Cesco) of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle.
  • Pascal Demurger, Director General of MAIF, author of the book "L'entreprise du 21e siècle sera politique ou ne sera plus" (ed. de l'Aube). 
  • Emmanuel Dupont, expert adviser on Transformation of public action and territories at the Agence Nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires (National Agency for Territorial Cohesion). As from the 1 January 2020, this Agency supports local and regional authorities to implement their projects and face new challenges - digital, ecological and demographic transitions - notably through innovative support programmes.
