In the face of climate change, the greatest environmental and socio-economic challenge facing humanity in the 21st century, EMASESA is organising the International Conference on Drought - an integrative view of drought and climate change. It will be held on 26-27 October 2022 in the building of the Seville Tourism Consortium.

This conference on drought will be the opportunity to share different views, needs, sensitivities, as well as new technological solutions and international experiences from which lessons can be learned and applied at the regional and national level.

Uniting administrations, consumers, and other stakeholders within a common framework will help improve the efficient management of water - a scarce resource -, reflect on the present, anticipate the future, and seek solutions.

The main objective of this meeting is to channel global policies into local management, and to develop them in a way that is adapted to municipalities, for the direct benefit of citizens.
