EMASESA (Seville’s water operator) is organising the conference "Water and Circular Economy: Building the green transition in urban space" which will be held on 20 October in Seville (Spain).

EMASESA is organising the Conference Water and Circular Economy: Building the green transition in urban spaces which, within the framework of the MITLOP project Integrated model for the management of sewage sludge and other organic waste, will be held on 20 October 2022 in the CREA building of Seville City Council, in a mixed format, face-to-face and online with streaming.

EMASESA will facilitate a debate in which visions and experiences will be presented on the challenges and opportunities of the circular and decarbonised economy in urban environments, as well as in relation to the role of public water operators in this process.

Aimed at technologists, innovators, administrations, urban cycle operators and representatives of sectors such as energy, agri-food, biomass, waste recovery, essential in the technological hybridisation of a circular economy, as well as civil society, an essential actor for change, this conference will highlight the role of public water operators in the process of transition to a circular economy through innovative proposals.

The Water and Circular Economy Conference: Building the green transition in urban spaces, organised by EMASESA, will be held in three sessions that will address the circular economy as an energy and production model to guarantee sustainability; the analysis of the regulatory framework and the role of innovation for the development of the circular economy and, finally, the sharing of experiences of circular transformation.
