On 12 December, the European Commission organises the EU Water Innovation Conference 2019 (EUWIC) in Zaragoza, Spain, with discussions focused on the theme: "Accelerating action to tackle water pollution and enhance EU preparedness to water-related climate change impacts". 

The day before the conference, Aqua Publica Europea will take part in the side event Horizon Europe - European Partnership "Water4All: Water security for the planet" (14:00-17:30) to discuss a proposal for a new European Partnership that would focus on water and securing all water demands in terms of quality and quantity and that both economic and natural systems, as well as people are protected from water-related hazards. This session will bring together representatives from EU Member States as well as from EU wide public and private research associations and partnerships to discuss the objectives and expected impacts of this partnership and its implementation.
