On 2 December 2021, the public water operator of the Turin metropolitan area, SMAT, organise the public online event to discuss the final results of the research project "Integrated methodologies for the management and protection of water resources: the protection of wellfields."

The presentation of the project, born from the scientific collaboration between the SMAT Research Center, the CNR-IGG, the Piedmont ARPA and the Piedmont Region, will count with the participation of: Paolo Romano, President of SMAT; Angelo Robotto, General Manager of ARPA Piemonte; Paolo Mancin, Manager of the Piedmont Region Water Protection Sector; Roberto Ronco, General Manager of ATO3 Turin; Giordano Colarullo, General Manager of Utilitalia ; Antonello Provenzale   Director CNR-IGG, Pisa and the researchers who conducted the research.

The conference will be an opportunity to illustrate the working methodology used to research the piedmont aquifer systems of the metropolitan area of ​​Turin and, in particular, in the areas of regional interest of Venaria Reale and Scalenghe with the general aim of producing significant elements cognitive for the protection of the well fields that insist on those territories.
